DESCRIPTION:\n\nFox Valley Association Fall Meeting\nSaturday\, October 12\, 2024\n9:00 AM - 1: 00 PM\nCongregational Church of Batavia\n\nHello Friends!\n\nThis year’s Fox Valley Association Fall Business Meeting will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday\, October 12 at Congregational Church of Batavia. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.\n\nThis in-person gathering will include Opening Worship\, presentations from Camp Forward\, the Governance Team on the revised Illinois Conference Constitution and Bylaws\, an update on the Conference Minister Search\, the Annual Business Meeting which includes election of officers and lunch.\n\nVoting membership of any meeting of the Association will consist of the members of the Association Council\, all ordained\, licensed and commissioned ministers holding standing in the Fox Valley Association\, all volunteer staff as appointed by the Association Council\, and two (2) adult delegates and one (1) youth delegate from each church.\n\nCost is $40 per person and $20 for Members in Discernment. The cost includes a buffet style lunch (please specify any dietary needs during registration).\n\nYou can pay online directly when registering by choosing "Pay Now" or you can pay by cash or check by choosing the "Pay In-Person" option during checkout. Please make checks payable to "Illinois Conference UCC" and include "FVA Fall Meeting" in the memo line and pay at the door.\n\nIf you have questions about the event itself\, please email Rev. Selena Blackwell\, Fox Valley Association Moderator.\n\nThe deadline to register is October 6. Register online here.\n\nRegistration is being done through Realm. You can pay online directly when registering (choose "Pay Now") OR you can pay by check or cash (choose "Pay In-Person"). If paying by cash\, please bring the exact amount. If paying by check:\n\n\tPlease make checks payable to "Illinois Conference UCC" and include "FVA Fall Meeting" in the memo line.\n\tPay at the door on Saturday\, October 12th.\n\nAfter registering\, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. If a confirmation email doesn’t arrive within 5 minutes or you need help registering\, call the Conference Office at 708-344-4470 (Monday-Friday\, 8:30-4:30) and talk to Naomi or Sarah. You may also call the office if you\, or someone you know\, need to register\, but are unable to do so online.\n\nIMPORTANT NOTE: \nYOU MUST CLICK THE “REGISTER” BUTTON AT THE END OF THE REGISTRATION PROCESS TO SUBMIT YOUR REGISTATION/PAYMENT.\nIf you don't receive the confirmation email\, you are NOT registered.
