The Illinois Conference Ministry Leadership Team invites you to an All Conference Chat: Devotions and Conversation for Clergy and Lay Leaders scheduled gathering on Zoom tomorrow June 3 at 3:00 p.m. (central time).

The Rev. Dr. Marilyn Pagán-Banks, Chair, Justice and Witness, Illinois Conference will be the featured speaker.

She will address the tumultuous times we live in and the outrage, pain and cry of justice for black and brown people and the sacredness of our lives. We invite dialogue on the Death of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and so many others at the hands of law enforcement officers. Rev. Dr. Marilyn Pagán-Banks (she/her/ella) is a queer womanist freedom fighter gratefully (though not always gracefully) serving as executive director of A Just Harvest, Senior Pastor at San Lucas UCC in Chicago, and adjunct professor at McCormick Theological Seminary.
